Bowling has changed. It's not your parents' sport anymore. Be part of the exciting new world and help us chart a new course for bowling.
If you're passionate about your work and have a desire to launch the sport of bowling into a new era, then the United States Bowling Congress wants you! We're looking for motivated professionals who take pride in a job well done. We'll welcome and develop your skills, and reward you for helping us take bowling to new heights.
As bowling's national governing body, the USBC team is excited to lead the sport into uncharted territory. We take pride in offering our members great service and taking bowling to a higher level with sophisticated new sport science research, dynamic youth programs, worldwide coaching clinics and forging new industry and corporate partnerships.
Those new directions mean opportunities for you to start an exciting, challenging and rewarding career with us at the USBC. We offer a wide variety of careers in a fun and dynamic workplace with great benefits.
Our Culture
At the USBC, we work hard to promote the sport of bowling. We also strive to create a team environment where participation in a wide range of activities is encouraged, believing that this creates a more enjoyable and productive atmosphere.
On a professional level, our common goal is to work for the good of bowling. First and foremost, we're the sport's national governing body and caretaker of the sport. At the USBC, we're strongly committed to delivering exceptional customer service to our nearly 2.5 million members by working with associations to process memberships, enforce rules, run local and state tournaments and make the sport fun and fair for everyone.
In addition, the USBC is growing the sport of bowling in a number of different ways. We're embarking on groundbreaking new research projects into technical aspects of the sport such as physics of bowling ball motion and biomechanics studies at the International Training Center that will soon be open. We're developing new youth bowling programs and working hard to add high schools and colleges to the fast-growing high school and collegiate bowling programs around the country. We're producing innovative online, professional coaching certification and training courses around the world. We're working more closely than ever with the Professional Bowlers Association to grow competitive opportunities for our members. And we're forming new corporate partnerships that give us more high-profile sponsorship opportunities than ever before.
While our endeavors are certainly important, we also want to create a rewarding and fun place to work. That's why we have put in place programs for our employees to get to know each other and just plain feel good about themselves.
Getting involved with USBC
The USBC is strongly committed to making a difference in the community at large. Generosity is one of USBC's core values, as evidenced by its extensive involvement in various local and national charities as well as scholarship programs.
You'll have the opportunity to involve yourself in small and large scale programs to lend a helping hand to those in need. An internal program called the Gift Giving Committee allows employees to help local needy families by donating food and gifts. Larger scale charitable efforts are organized through The Bowling Foundation, which coordinates a variety of programs, activities and initiatives designed to improve the lives of others through bowling such as: Bowl for the Cure, Bowlers to Veterans Link, the Special Olympics and the Earl Anthony Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Not surprisingly, the USBC has a company bowling league. No matter your ability, this is a time to relax and share time with your friends and co-workers in a USBC-certified league. It is also a great opportunity to build camaraderie and get hands-on experience with the sport you work in, learning first-hand about bowling equipment and lane oil patterns.

Registered Volunteer ProgramUSBC created the Registered Volunteer Program (RVP) to assure parents that we provide as safe an environment as possible for USBC youth. The program ensures that any volunteers who work with USBC Youth are qualified to do so, and gives proprietors, coaches and prospective volunteers alike an opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to the safety of youth bowlers by either registering in the program themselves or inviting registered volunteers to take part in local USBC Youth activities.
